Here’s to helping families to earn more income, become properly protected, debt free, & financially independent
"So, my parents told me to go to school, get good grades and get out and get a good job. I went to school, got good grades, but by the time- You know, I threw my hat in the air, and by the time the hat landed, there weren't any good jobs."
Broderick always strived for greatness. Coming from the now typical single-family home, He always made a way to excel academically because from the teachings that were prevalent at the time, it was either excel in professional sports, get good grades to get a good job, or go to the military.
He quickly realized of the alternatives he had before him; academics was his best bet. Growing up qualifying for every government assistance program offered & noticing how his grandmother with his 15 aunts, uncles, and almost 80 cousins back then, even more now, would always be the family given hand me down clothes and the things that other people no longer wanted,
Broderick knew he was starting from the bottom or was not very far from it!
“But then I eventually moved here to North Carolina and became an assistant manager at a multinational retail company. And as a salary member of management, the company could work me as much as they wanted to. And my paycheck never changed. And a couple of rude awakenings when I first got my first paycheck, And I saw how much I got paid for the hours, I was like, man, there's no way I can reach all my goals and dreams here. So, I had to start minimizing my goals and dreams into the size of my paycheck, or I had to decide, you know what? I want to do something outside of the size of my paycheck and I got to be willing to find something that can allow me to get there.”
During grade-school Broderick recalls working starting at age 14 over 20 different jobs before starting in a post graduate job at Walmart.
Attending Texas Tech on a partial academic scholarship, but due to financial limitations could not afford to stay on campus, so attended college from the same bunk bed that he had grown up in most of his childhood.
After finally reaching a “Career” as a manager nonetheless with the biggest retail company in the county, Broderick thought this was where the American dream he heard about all his life was going to start.
“So that kind of started my entrepreneurial journey. And so many other people can relate because... they're limited in what they can do in the size of their paycheck. They have goals and dreams that are beyond the size of their paycheck. And you got to decide, am I going to minimize my goals and dreams into the size of my paycheck? Or am I going to do things to create additional income, create additional outlets to make additional income? And for those that decide to do that, they can step out on their own, we can help them get a license and we're willing to hold their hand through the process.”
The Lion Chasers
Broderick was at church one day when he heard his pastor preaching on Chasing the Lion, a book by Mark Batterson. He liked the concept behind it, and that’s how the name, The Lion Chasers, came to be. Since then, Broderick and his team have been recruiting people to join a crusade to help families become properly protected, debt-free, and financially independent.
The mission is to teach people how to chase after the things others run from and pursue their goals and dreams. Most people are paralyzed by fear—fear of stepping out in faith, fear of doing something new. At some point, Broderick believes people need to decide that enough is enough. They need to chase the lion, take the leap, and do what it takes to reach their goals.
Broderick's goal for the team is to produce 10 RVPs—individuals who own their own business and earn over $250,000 a year in the financial services industry. Then, the aim is to help those 10 each develop 10 more. This will create over 100 individuals who, by stepping out on faith and joining the team, will become licensed in the financial industry.

These entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to earn six-figure incomes for themselves and their families, allowing the organization to grow in a significant way. To achieve this, Broderick plans to recruit over 60 district leaders over the next two years. These district leaders will be individuals willing to help at least six families within 90 days and identify six others who might be interested in getting licensed.

The team is excited about these milestones. Once three individuals accomplish this, the team becomes an SVP. When six accomplish it, they become an NSD. And once nine do, they become an SNSD. Promotions are tied to success, based on how many others are helped to succeed. The more the team blesses others, the more they can be blessed in return. This is a glimpse of the origin story of The Lion Chasers.
“Because when I came into the company, I had no licenses, no background, no experience. And the company was willing to help me to get the licenses, and team me up with a trainer to guide me through the process. So I never felt like I was, you know, thrown into the wolves to figure it out. And over time, I got good at what we do. And now we're able to do this full time and not have to work a traditional nine to five job. And we can help other people. either just make supplemental income on top of their nine to five or put them in a career changing path as well to where they could only do this and have freedom for them and their family as well.”
